Vicente García Fuentes RI
PAINTER SPECIALIZING IN WATERCOLOR TECHNIQUE
Painting has been my passion since childhood; no moment of my life has been devoid of its influence. For me, painting is a vital means of communication. The artistic residency grant that took me to Iceland was a catalyst for immersing myself in the dynamic atmosphere and landscapes of the region, which I captured using watercolor techniques.
I strive to distill the very essence of the landscapes that inspire me, emphasizing their interaction with light.
Glaciers, skies, ice, seas, volcanoes, and boats occupy a prominent place in my work; I frequently change the composition to express my emotions with greater precision.
My artistic vision is in perpetual growth, as I intend to invest a piece of my soul in each work, while treasuring my vocation as a painter following in the footsteps of the great masters of art history.
